Firesteed Pinot Noir 2005 (Oregon)

+ WONDERFUL aroma! A complex mix of cherry flavors.

- Thin-bodied. A bit too tannin to my taste. Perhaps we should have let it warm up for a little longer after taking out of the refrigerator.

Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc 2005 (Sonoma County, California)

+ The best white wine we've ever tasted. Very crisp and floral, citrus flavor, with a strong note of oak (or tobacco?). Bought twice and loved it!

- umm... none that we can think of!

Altos Las Hormigas Malbec 2006 (Argentina)

+ Lovely magenta color. A harmonic mixture of acidity, tanin, and sweetness. Delightful lingering aftertaste!

- The first sip was kind of shallow, or too neutral to have character. Although the aftertaste compensates the initial shyness, overall this wine lacks robustness and density.
